Drones are used in a wide range of applications, from toys for entertainment to capturing events in photos and videos, surveying sites and objects, providing security, etc. There are even sports competitions where drones reach speeds of 250 km.
In the class, students will not only learn how to pilot drones indoors and outdoors, learn how to manoeuvre them, practice flying around obstacles, but also learn how a drone works, how it is built and what processes allow it to fly, why you need to pay attention to climatic conditions when piloting a drone outdoors, etc. Considerable attention will also be paid to the safety rules that need to be learned to ensure that flying does not endanger the safety of the pilot, other people or property.
Participants will have the choice to develop more practical skills in using a drone for taking photos and videos, taking part in sports drone competitions or gaining general knowledge needed to obtain a drone pilot’s licence.
